KOČAP 2017
Course of protection of human and nature, also called KOČAP, is an annual trip of the students of third years to the nature, whose part is traditionally a weir.
During this course, our students visited the village of Ráztoka, which is situated close to the riverside of the river Hron, at the edge of National Park Of Nízke Tatry.
On Sunday of 10th September 2017, we packed our suitcases and took the train from Pieštany. After two passages we finally reached our destination. We appreciated pleasant accommodation in mountain cabin and delicious dinner, which awaited us.
The second day, we planned the most expected activity – the weir of a river Hron. After we had divided ourselves into particular raft groups, we started to tame this (this day not so much) wild river. After some time we had a break in the place where is the natural jumping ramp. A couple of courageous students tried how it is to jump into the icy Hron. We ended our weir at the pleasant place with a small kettle of hot gulash awaiting us. This day full of new adventures and experiences was ended by barbecue party. On Tuesday, the weather was not so good. Some students therefore appreciated, that instead of a planned tour, we spent our day playing cards, table football and other party games at our disposal. Some of our students even tried wellness, with prepared finish and infra-red sauna, whirling bath and relaxing room with pleasant music. On Wednesday 13th of September 2017 we ended our trip by short walk towards the train station. When we took our view of the Nízke Tatry for the last time, we were waiting for our trains and in the afternoon we reached home full of new adventures and experiences.
